Two women were struck by a dark-colored, compact Mercedes SUV that fled the scene immediately after the collision.
Taylor Wilkinson, a 20-year-old sophomore at Fisher College, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other woman’s condition has not been disclosed. Taylor was a bright and compassionate individual, remembered by the school’s president, Steven Rich, as a dedicated student with a passion for fashion merchandising.
The Fisher College community is in shock and grief over the loss of Taylor. Her twin sister, who also attends Fisher College, is among those deeply affected by the tragedy.
