
The Rock Island County Coroner’s Office has identified Shahnaz Fard, a 53-year-old resident of Rock Island, as the victim of a fatal two-vehicle crash in Silvis on Thursday evening. Coroner Brian Gustafson confirmed Fard’s identity on Saturday, adding a solemn note to an already tragic incident.
