
ROGERS, Ark. — One person was killed after a shooting early Saturday morning in Rogers.
A day after the shooting, police identified the victim as 41-year-old Andres Fonseca.
According to a release from the Rogers Police Department (RPD), the shooting occurred just after midnight on March 8.
RPD said dispatch received multiple calls about the shooting, which took place in the 3100 block of South B Street.
Once on the scene, officers located a man who had been shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries, the release said.
RPD said investigators believe the incident is isolated and there is no threat to the public.
