
La Grange, NC – A fatal shooting early Sunday morning in La Grange has left a 30-year-old man dead, prompting an active investigation by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to reports of a gunshot victim at a residence on Sweet Amy Lane around 12:15 a.m. on December 8, 2024.
When deputies arrived at 943 Sweet Amy Lane, they found Quinton Lee Gray unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced Gray deceased at the scene. The tragic incident has left the community in shock as investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
