SIOUX CITY, Iowa — A Sioux City man is dead after being involved in a crash in rural Plymouth County Saturday night.
According to a crash report, officials responded to a reported crash on K18 just north of Sioux City at around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday.
Officials said that Jonathan Wingert, 34, was headed north on K-18 when his vehicle left the roadway and he hit multiple trees. Officials said that he was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wingert was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, officials said. #Johnathan_Lawrence_Wingert
