
SAINT CLOUD, FL – Authorities have identified the 19-year-old woman killed in a two-vehicle crash near St. Cloud on Tuesday night as Lana Fellows, a Kissimmee resident and beloved former captain of the St. Cloud High School dance team.
The accident occurred just before 7 p.m. on Old Hickory Tree Road at its intersection with Nolte Road. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the driver of a Toyota Corolla failed to stop at a stop sign and drove into the path of an eastbound Nissan Quest minivan. The impact caused both vehicles to veer off the roadway.
Troopers reported that the drivers of both vehicles and a passenger in the minivan sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Fellows, who was a passenger in the Toyota, was critically injured and later pronounced dead at Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital. The crash remains under investigation, with authorities working to determine contributing factors.
Fellows was remembered as a gifted, passionate leader by her peers and community. She served as captain of the St. Cloud High School Golden Girls Dance Team during her junior and senior years. Her teammates and friends expressed their heartbreak, describing her as a bright, ambitious young woman who inspired everyone around her.
