
Macon, GA – A fatal shooting early Sunday morning at the Green Meadows apartment complex on Log Cabin Drive has left a 26-year-old man dead and a 17-year-old injured. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, which occurred shortly before 2:00 a.m. on December 8, 2024.
Deputies responding to reports of gunfire found Keshon Knolton, 26, unresponsive with gunshot wounds. A 17-year-old male, also injured in the shooting, was located at the scene. Both victims were rushed to a local hospital, where Knolton was pronounced dead. The teenager is currently in stable condition.

On Saturday, December 7, at approximately 1:00 p.m., a woman was shot while decorating her front yard for Christmas, less than half a mile from the Green Meadows complex.
