
DAVENPORT, IA – Tragedy struck the community as 16-year-old Jentrell Lee, a student at Davenport West High School, lost his life in a shooting on Sunday evening. School officials confirmed the news, expressing condolences and arranging support services for students and staff during this difficult time.
In a statement, the Davenport School District announced that counselors would be available throughout the week, aiming to help those grieving the sudden loss. “Our thoughts are with Jentrell’s family and friends,” the district noted, emphasizing the importance of emotional support for the school community.
