A 36-year-old man from Franklin County, Pennsylvania, was tragically killed in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on the 700 block of Mount Alto Road, near Eby Road in Guilford Township.
Pennsylvania State Police have identified the victim as Jason Graham. Authorities reported that Graham was driving a 2008 Ford F-350 northbound on Mount Alto Road when the accident happened.
According to police, as Graham approached a left-hand curve, his truck veered off the road. Despite his attempt to regain control, the vehicle re-entered the roadway, crossed over the median, passed through an intersection, and ultimately crashed into a tree in the front yard of a nearby property.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash, but Graham was pronounced dead on-site. The force of the impact caused significant damage to the vehicle, highlighting the severity of the accident.
Investigators are working to determine the exact cause of the crash, but no further details have been released at this time. Factors such as road conditions, speed, or other potential contributors to the incident remain under review by the Pennsylvania State Police.
This tragic accident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety, especially on rural roads with sharp curves. Authorities urge drivers to exercise caution, particularly during the early hours when visibility and road conditions can present challenges.
