Danger on the street. Blue flasher on the police car at night.
A tragic accident on New Year’s Eve claimed the life of 60-year-old James Engle from Ellington, Connecticut, after his vehicle veered off the road on Interstate 91 in Windsor. The crash occurred on the Route 20 East connector ramp leading to I-91 North, at approximately 9 p.m.
Engle was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt LS in the right lane of the two-lane ramp when the car suddenly veered to the right, crossing the shoulder and leaving the roadway.
