Cincinnati, OH – The Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) has identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Winton Hills on Thursday night as 13-year-old Izreal Bishop.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of an unresponsive child lying on the ground in the 780 block of Dutch Colony Drive.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Bishop suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical personnel transported him to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Cincinnati Public Schools confirmed that Izreal Bishop was a student at Hughes STEM High School.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and authorities have not released information regarding potential suspects or motives.
