
Greenville, NC – March 2025 – A Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft crashed near Pitt-Greenville Airport (PGV) early this morning, resulting in the deaths of both individuals on board, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The single-engine aircraft departed from Pitt-Greenville Airport at approximately 7:46 a.m. en route to Vero Beach, Florida.
Moments after takeoff, the plane crashed in a wooded area near North Memorial Drive and Belvoir Road.
Emergency responders arrived promptly, but there were no survivors. Remains were found at the scene.
