ANAHEIM, CA — On Friday morning, guests and visitors at the Disneyland Resort were startled by the sight of smoke billowing from one of the theme park’s major parking structures.
According to video footage and witness accounts, a vehicle fire broke out inside the Pixar Pals Parking Structure, specifically on the Finding Nemo level.
The blaze, which reportedly originated from a single car, quickly spread to multiple nearby vehicles, creating a significant emergency response situation.
The incident was first reported shortly before 10:30 a.m., at which point Anaheim Fire & Rescue units responded to the scene.
As of 10:35 a.m., the exact cause of the fire remained undetermined, and officials had not yet confirmed what initially ignited the flames.
Plumes of dark smoke were seen rising from the structure, causing alarm among park guests.
Videos circulated online showed fire crews arriving to assess and contain the situation.
At this time, no injuries have been confirmed, and authorities have not released information regarding how many vehicles were ultimately impacted.
It remains unclear how long the fire burned before it was brought under control or what methods were used to suppress the flames within the multi-level parking facility.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Park operations outside the affected area appeared to continue as normal, though access to parts of the Pixar Pals Parking Structure may be limited as fire crews complete their assessment and clean-up.
Officials are expected to provide further updates once more information becomes available.
