Detroit Police Officer Accused of Sending Inappropriate Messages to Minor
A Detroit father is speaking out after a disturbing incident involving a police officer and his teenage daughter.
He alleges that Officer Earl Anderson, who serves with the Detroit Police Department, sent inappropriate messages to his daughter at 2 AM.
The father, who has full custody of the girl, says she was at her mother’s house when the officer messaged her. At first, she thought the conversation was normal, but she soon felt uncomfortable. Trusting her instincts, she shared the messages with her aunt.
“I’m proud of my daughter for recognizing something was wrong,” the father said. “She did the right thing by telling someone.”
❗Father Takes Action
After seeing the messages, the father took immediate steps. He reported the situation to the police and is now waiting for further action.
However, he believes cases like this are often ignored until they gain public attention.
“It feels like nothing gets done until you put it on the internet,” he said.
The father is outraged that Anderson, a sworn officer, would act this way. “He took an oath to protect and serve, but he’s doing the opposite,” he added.
❗Mother Allegedly Defends Officer
The father also claims that his child’s mother is defending Anderson instead of protecting their daughter.
“She’s standing by him, and that’s disgusting to me,” he said. “I look at her like a pedophile too.”
