
A Chesire High school senior is dead following a one vehicle crash in Cheshire Sunday night. Max Tello, 18, was driving on Wolf Hill Road near the intersection with Blacks Road when the crash occurred. Emergency crews responded to the scene of the crash around 10 p.m. and found live power lines over the vehicle. The car burst had burst into flames, engulfing the teen. Tello was found dead inside the vehicle. No one else was in the vehicle.
Cheshire High School authorities dismissed students early on Monday in wake of the tragedy to ‘focus on the emotional needs’ of students and staff. The school in a statement expressed condolences with the Tello family. Max attended Chapman and Dodd School prior to joining Cheshire High School.
