As he entered the intersection, his vehicle was struck by a 2018 Ford F-150 traveling eastbound on State Route 15. His wife, Sonja, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, was rushed to the same hospital but succumbed to her injuries shortly after. Kadir sustained minor injuries and received treatment from HANCO EMS at the scene.
