
Tulsa, OK – Tulsa Police Homicide Detectives are actively searching for 19-year-old Angel Ibarra, the final suspect in a deadly ambush shooting that claimed the lives of two teenagers over the weekend. The shooting occurred in the early hours of February 8, 2025, at an apartment complex near 11800 E. 21st Street.
Officers arrived at the scene around 1:30 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered four teenagers had been shot in what investigators believe was a targeted attack. Two victims, identified as 18-year-olds Arturo Degollado and Jett Brummett, were pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, were rushed to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds and are expected to survive.
Authorities have identified three suspects involved in the shooting. Eighteen-year-old Christopher Atjun turned himself in on Saturday, while 16-year-old Joseph Melendez was already in custody. Angel Ibarra remains at large and is the only suspect still on the run. All three suspects face two counts of First-Degree Murder, while Ibarra and Atjun are also charged with two counts of Shooting with Intent to Kill.
Tulsa police are urging anyone with information on Ibarra’s whereabouts to come forward. Individuals can contact Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS, and anonymous tips are welcomed. Law enforcement officials stress that Ibarra is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
