
STROUDSBURG, Pa. — A fatal shooting at a Wawa convenience store on West Main Street in Stroudsburg claimed the life of 17-year-old Garrett Sorrenti on Monday night. Authorities have arrested 25-year-old Andrew Quattrochi of Bushkill in connection with the incident, which police believe stemmed from a verbal dispute that turned violent.
Stroud Area Regional Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire at around 8:00 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Sorrenti suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. They immediately began lifesaving efforts until emergency medical services arrived. Despite these efforts, Sorrenti was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital just before 11:00 p.m., according to the Monroe County Coroner’s Office.
