A Beechwood Middle School teacher has been arrested in Lexington County SC and charged with s*xual conduct with a minor. Luther Jackson Truluck, 30, reportedly lured a 15-year-old to his home after contacting her via social media platform Snapchat, plied her with alcohol and preformed s*xual acts with her on January 1st. The student, who had been reported as a runaway, picked Truluck out of a lineup.
The English and Language Arts teacher with the Lexington One School District was arrested by State Law Enforcement officials and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
He was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center and granted conditional bond of $45,000. Truluck was ordered not to use social media and have no contact with the minor or her family.
Truluck served as Head Coach for Beechwood’s Run Hard Running Team and had been previously been praised not just for his coaching but his teaching and mentorship skills by both parents and students alike.
